Sunday!!!

Our gym is getting HUGE!  By huge I mean....we have 1,010 members signed up.  I'm not sure if we have 1,010 for the 90 day challenge or 1,010 TOTAL for the gym.  Either way, it's HUGE.

Sunday class was large today.  I knew it was going to be a "heavy weight" class in which you choose a dumbbell 25lbs+.  I got there early so I wasn't stuck with a 40lb weight.  What I FAILED to do was LOOK THE FUCK around me and/or read the class sign properly.  We were also supposed to get a set of small weights.  I normally rock the 10 lb. weights.  Well, class started and I needed the weights.  Wanna know what was left???  Two 1lb. weights and one 2lb weight.  So I rocked a total of 2 lbs. per side.  WHAT?  My guns be SWOLE.
My little friend Andrea with 15's and me....with 1's.  LMFAO!!!  Damn I look like shit in this pic.  Headbands are NOT my friend.
Heavy weights, lighter weights, running with the heavy weight, burpees, uphill sprint, boxing in the hot room.
Meal prep for part of the week.  The kids want burgers tonight.  So I'm cooking up extra burgers for lunches.  Not turkey burgers, real burgers.  I'll eat mine with veggies or wrapped in lettuce.  Matt and the kids will eat with a bun.  I am DESPERATELY trying to get the kids to eat wheat buns......NOT super successful.
Frozen but delish!!!  I've never had this brand.  Matt picked it out!

We also had a bunch of steak left over from Thursday that was little thicker than skirt steak.  I was going to marinade and stir fry it.  After work, Matt started grilling it up...which was fine but the meat ended up being kind of tough.  My solution???  You guessed it.  Cut up the steak and stick it in the crock pot with 1 large jar of salsa, and the following pictured ingredients!  Spicy and delish for lunches.  Could be served in a wrap or over lettuce/spinach!  YUM!!!
organic black beans, red kidney, canelloni beans, salsa, one jar of jalapenos.

Steak
 Veggies for a few days!
Asparagus.  1 tbs EVOO, a dash of sea salt.  Cook at 500 for 10 min.  Sprinkle grated parmesean. Cook for 1 more min to melt.

Brussel Sprouts.  (see former blog)

I cooked these the same way EVOO, dash of salt. 500 degrees for 10 min.
I'm all about fun AND safety!
Now that I really "put myself out there" in public, I find it amusing how many people have opinions about food, health, and exercising.  Because I feel free to spout my shit out loud, people feel free to spout theirs right back at me.  I'm TOTALLY OK with that.  I'm amused because how on earth does MY workout shit/eating plan effect your life in any way??

Some opinions are well intentioned.  Some are just bitchy and judgmental.  "Those workouts aren't healthy."  Really?  Why don't you ask the members of our gym who have lost a significant amount of weight quickly and who are now off blood pressure meds. The point is....my gym may not be right for you.  Go to Curves for fucks sake.  I don't give a shit.

My friend Andrea thinks we should rock the UFC ring girl outfits for our final photo shoot.  FUCK.  A) I am 5'7 (ish...little shorter) she is 5'.  B) I am medium boned and she is small boned. C) Standing next to her is going to make MY pics look fucking GROSS!  I'm on the fence.
If I do choose to be bold, you bet a shot of vodka is happening before the shoot.  For reals.
Bah-lieve
Remember, if you are eating lots of fiber...avoid SHART WEEK.  And with those profound words of wisdom I say....peace out fuckas!
