Day 1

Day 1
St. Patrick's Day.  No beer. Boooooo!  I'm actually not that bummed.  And it's DAY 1, for fuck's sake.  You can't cheat on day one.  That would be ridiculous.  I have a clear goal in mind.  I know what I want.  I know WHY I want it. 
Focus on what you want.  Make the vision CLEAR.  Then do it.  If you lose focus, the war is not lost.  Just refocus and work.  Bad habits/thinking do pop up.  Slap those bitches down and woman up!  The journey will NEVER be perfect.

Breakfast:  egg white veggie scramble
Snack: Quest bar
Lunch:  grilled chicken, brown rice, brussel sprouts and asparagus
Snack:  smoothie from the new cafe at my gym
Dinner:  either another egg white scramble and/or burger and veggies and/or chicken and veggies!  

I do this.  Not kidding.  EVERY time I work out!
 Today was a good day.  Great workout.  FUN day at work.  My family is alive and well and I am grateful!  Tomorrow we are able to get up and do it all again.  We have so many opportunities a day and I want to try to grab as many as I can in my greedy little fists.

Lastly, I was just rereading my Blog and this thought occurred.
The next one is for Diane because she ALWAYS makes us take pictures especially when I look like shit and she looks great.  She tells me, "Don't worry, I'll use a filter."
But I want them!
