A case of the Mondays....

Woke up, weigh in day!  Woot!!!!!  Down 3.1!  Let's not get too excited.  I've been sick.  Nevertheless, you can see, EATING actually works.  

I always set Monday as my weigh in day.  WHY?  The weekend.  Helps me stay accountable.

Breakfast- 1 cup of mixed berries, 1/4 c of granola, a splash of unsweetened almond milk.  This is Matt's fav. breakfast.

Snacks and Lunch were posted and prepped yesterday.

Dinner-soooooo, yeah. 

My wheat crust pizza extravaganza was put on hold.  I had all good intentions of making that shit.  I swear.  But then.....we decided to go to Lazy Dog.  We had a free kid's meal coupon!  Everybody had a CrAzY Monday.  I WOULD blame my family but I was totally complicit.  Yum!!!  I love food......and wine.  I TOLD you this.  You should not be shocked.  

 So, how do I make this work?  Now, if it were a challenge, I would have ordered a plain chicken breast with a side of broccoli, and a water with lemon.  Not kidding.  EVERY single restaurant will serve this.  :)  It's cheaper too!

But I'm not in a challenge and I know if I'm careful, I can still lose weight.  Today I got the "happy hour portion" of chicken lettuce cups WITHOUT the rice noodles. I NEVER use the sauce they serve, I just add Sriracha.  


We had spicy edamame to share.  And I had wine.  NOM, fucking, NOM, NOM, NOM!  (I told you I would speak the truth).

Not a clean meal but after today, and after being sick, TOTALLY worth it.

In addition, all the Girl Scout cookies are coming in.   My trick.  Order Thin Mints.  I FUCKING HATE THIN MINTS!!!!  My family loves them.  Win--win.

A parting shot....my dog woke me up this morning wearing a bra.  If that doesn't make you smile, then you ARE a sad sack.  For reals.
